Where to Get New Tires: Tips to Get the Best Deal on New Tires for your Vehicle

Where to get new tires

Where to get new tires? The TireZoo!

Deciding where to get new tires for your vehicle can be a tough decision. Pick the wrong place, and you could easily spend too much or end up with substandard tires that won’t fit your needs. At the TireZoo, we’re all about helping people find a great set of tires that fit your budget!

Here are some tips and tricks to help you select the right place when you’re ready to buy your next set of tires:
  • Reputation/Reviews: Reading through reviews helps you get a good understanding of the product and service you can expect to receive. We consistently get positive reviews almost everyday on Google and Facebook from customers.

  • Selection: You need choices. Some places are only able to sell new or used tires. Other tire places are restricted to certain brands. We carry an extraordinary number of used and new tires at both our locations, and because we’re an independent shop, we can carry a wide variety of brands.

  • Price: The best price doesn’t always mean the best deal if you are sold something you don’t need. If you’re told you must buy new or you must replace all four tires because one tire is bad, you need to know that you have options. The crew at the TireZoo takes the time to find out more about your driving habits, how you use your vehicle, the type of driving you’ll be doing this next year, and more. Then they’ll present new and quality used tire options for you with upfront pricing. The price you get is “out the door” pricing without hidden costs. We often can save our budget-conscious customers hundreds of dollars on tires.

Learn more about the TireZoo

The TireZoo began in a small garage as a home based business in Bloomington, MN by Dan Wilkerson in 1979. A few years later Dan moved into a store front in Bloomington and hired his first employee. They were known as All Season Tire Co, and still are by many devoted customers.

The company grew, more employees were added, and their line of new and used tires expanded exponentially. In June of 1995 they opened their second location in Anoka, MN (also known to locals as Anoka Tire), and began helping people from as far away as Canada!

With the launch of their website TireZoo.com, their name TireZoo took shape and well, it’s just plain catchy! What makes the TireZoo Crew so intriguing is their interest in reaching out to customers and doing what it takes to save them money on tires and provide excellent service.

Their impressive inventory of new and used tires is the largest you’ll find. They sell many brands of new tires, wheels, and rims; yet have no corporate restraints, so they are able to offer used tires and other products and services their customers need – at incredibly affordable prices. The Tire Zoo will make sure you get what you need, help you put your tires on your vehicle, and take the time to answer all your questions.

They are the most accessible and friendly tire people you’ll find. We hope you’ll consider joining our team!

Carpool & Travel Snacks for Kids

Travel Snacks for Kids

Travel Snacks for Kids

We’ve got ideas for travel snacks for kids in the car, as we’ve been collecting lots of great ideas on Pinterest over the last few years.

When schedules get busy, parents spend a lot of time in the car transporting kids to school, activities, social events, practice, and games. Time in the car means eating in the car or packing food to eat at the final destination. If greasy burgers aren’t appealing and tightening the budget is, try some of these tips and travel-friendly snacks and meals.

Tips & Travel Snacks for Kids
  • When you buy a new school lunch box, keep the old one for traveling. It’s nice to have a small insulated bag for the car to pack items in.
  • Keep a little bin of wet wipes or baby wipes for fingers and minor spills.
  • Have a dedicated bag or bin for wrappers and garbage.
  • Here are some additional tips for eating healthy in the car.
Travel-Friendly Foods
  • Individually wrapped foods or foods separated into smaller containers. It helps with food waste, as well as having less to spill should it get dropped.
  • Wraps work well, as they contain the sandwich ingredients and are easier for kids to hold.
  • Snack and trail mixes can include just about any type of dry ingredients and seasoning.
  • Cheese sticks, meat sticks, fruits/veggie sticks are all simple and easy to pass around the car.
