Minneapolis Tires to the Pavement, Artistic Style!

painted cars, tires, and bikes; Minneapolis, MNHave you heard of ArtCars? The Minnesota ArtCar Parade in Minneapolis this summer, around Lake Harriot featured all kinds of artistically decorated cars and bikes. Maybe you’ve seen one of these creations driving the streets or parked at a residence?

From creative painting, to three dimensional objects, and costumed drivers/riders, ArtCars are interesting to say the least. Tires and rims are painted, bedazzled, and worked into endless interesting designs. The sky is the limit when a you have unlimited paint and glue!

If you missed the parade earlier this summer, you can catch an encore of sorts at the Minnesota State Fair Daily Parade. Each day at 2pm that parade follows a fourteen block route through the fairgrounds and will feature at least 3 ArtCars and ArtBikes. The Minnesota State Fair starts August 22, 2013 and runs through Labor Day, September 2, 2013. Click here for a Google map of the Minnesota State Fair.

What to Do When Your Tire Blows

There is no good time for a tire blow out. Things that go wrong always seem to happen at inopportune times, and tire blow outs and flat tires are no exception. What should you do in case of tire trouble?

First, work hard to prolong the life of your tires. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, right?

Well, as careful as we may be, accidents happen and tires just give out. When this happens, it’s best to be prepared. Don’t panic! It’s most important that you remain calm and keep control of the vehicle.

This is an excellent video that reviews the do’s and dont’s of handling a vehicle whose tire just blew out.

TireZoo Appreciates the Growing Number of Women Customers

tirezoo customers are increasingly women shoppersGone are the days when men shopped for tires and took the car to have the oil changed on Saturday. Women from all walks of life increasingly cast aside stereotypes when it comes to errands, and simply work in what needs to be done according to the family schedule and budget. We see men, women, singles, families, young and old come into the TireZoo for tires. Everyone, male or female, is able to purchase tires for their vehicle. The trick for us, at the TireZoo, is helping people find what they need at a price they can afford, and really listening in the process.

What we continually hear from our customers is how well we take the time to listen, hear you tell us about your vehicle and what it’s doing, and ask questions. We know you can walk into any number of tire places and get bombarded with a prescribed sales process. We don’t do that, because we don’t know what you need before we talk to you. We need a chance to help you decide if you need only one or two tires, if you need new or used tires, or if you have a specific brand in mind. We let you guide the tire sales process, and we respect any level of tire knowledge you may or may not have prior to arriving. It is precisely for this reason we tend to draw many customers from Minneapolis to Maple Grove, and everywhere in between to our store. It’s also why many of our customer reviews come from a good mix of men AND women!

“You guys are awesome! Thanks for making a stressful situation so easy! I’m going to tell everyone I know about you! Thanks for being such a trusted place.” Dawn

“Nice people, put my summer tires on for much less than their competitors. I’ll go back again.” Tom

If you have a question about tires, stop in or call us. We’ll be happy to help!
